Our Experience

We are a fully insured dog groomer and dog care premises based in Newbury Berkshire with over 25 years experience in the world of dogs, ranging from working with rescue dogs through to training police dogs, and everything in between.

Qualifications

I am animal first aid trained, and have a Level 3 Diploma in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare, and also completed several dog grooming courses. At the moment I am studying a City and Guilds Level 2 course in dog grooming to improve my skill set.

Our Approach to Grooming

We have a confident, no-nonsense approach to dog handling and welfare, and can cater to the happy-go-lucky, laid back pooch, to the nervous, reactive and even unpredictable dogs. All of them are welcome at The Dog Pack.

Our Dog Grooming Service

Our dog grooming service is offered in our fully equipped, professional salon located in my own home. My grooming environment is very laid back, and I only groom one dog (or family of dogs) at a time. All dogs get regular breaks during and after their grooming where they are allowed to rest and relax or wander and explore my salon and enclosed garden.

In addition to our grooming, The Dog Pack also offers many other dog-related services, including pre-arranged Dog Taxi, pick-up and drop-off service, puppy socialisation sessions and one-on-one dog behaviour training and advice.

Hannah is very professional and brings a first class grooming service. Super friendly and professional; bathing, full grooming and trimming all at high standards, hard to believe she is only a trainee because the work is what we would expect from someone fully qualified. Atmosphere was clean and well maintained. Hannah took into consideration that our dogs are working dogs, she handled them well and made sure their needs were met on certain cuts/styles.
